Hi 👋 I’m Gabrielle Chase (she/her),
but you can call me Gab.

I own SHADE Hair Studio in the Evergreen Shores neighborhood of Vancouver, WA. I’ve been a licensed stylist since 2008 with a passion for creating effortlessly lived-in, dimensional color. My signature style focuses on working with your natural tones to create soft, seamless color that feels low-maintenance and elevated — think beachy, undone hair for the Pacific Northwest.

I love doing hair that feels natural, confident, and personal. One of my biggest priorities has been to build a space where clients feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. My goal has always been to offer more than just great hair — I want every visit to feel like the best salon experience in Vancouver and the surrounding area. My chair is a space for connection — real conversations, good laughs, and leaving with a little more confidence than you came in with.

Outside the salon, I’m into video games, plants, hip hop, and tarot. I’m a feminist and a firm believer in creating an inclusive, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable, celebrated, and fully themselves.
